It's Wednesday!

Horror Blogger Meme

1: In Ten Words or Less, Describe Your Blog

Famous Monsters Of Filmland like blog set at a Drive-In.

2: During What Cinematic Era Where you Born?
A: The Classic Horror Era (late 30's to 40's)
B: The Atomic Monster/Nuclear Angst Era (the late 40's through 50's)
C: The Psycho Era (Early 60's)
D: The Rosemary's Baby Era (Mid to Late 60's)
E: The Exorcism Era (Early to mid 70's)
F: The Halloween Era (Late 70's to Early 80's)
G: The Slasher Era (Mid to late 80's)
H: The Self Referential/Post Modern Era (1990 to 1999)

B - I was zapped by radioactive energy at a Drive-In and have lurked on the weird side of life ever since.

3: The Carrie Compatibility Question:

I don't really understand the question.

4: You have been given an ungodly amount of money and total control of a major motion picture studio - what would your dream Horror project be?

"Buddy Holly Meets The Vampires", a biopic of the Ramones and the Cramps and i have a movir i've wanted to make since the 70's called "Odd", really don't want to go into details because i might write it one day. Oh i'd also get the rights to all the Hammer films and put them all out on DVD.

5: What horror film "franchise" that others have embraced, left you cold?

Not so much a franchise but H.G. Lewis gore and Italian gore like Fulci, they just leave me colder than a corpse.

6: Is Michael Bay the Antichrist?

No that's Ulle Bowe. Michael Bay needs to cool it with the CGI and explosions and actually have a plot in one of his movies.

7: Dracula, The Wolf Man, The Frankenstein Monster - which one of these classic villains scares you, and why?

Dracula and Wolfman were cool and i wanted to be both but as a kid the Frankenstein monster scared the bats out of me!

8: Tell me about a scene from a NON HORROR Film that scares the crap out of you:

Any film where people get their heads chopped off, it still bothers me. I think i was decapitated in a former life.

9: Baby Jane Hudson invites you over to her house for lunch. What do you bring?

An uzi...just in case.

10: So, between you and me, do you have any ulterior motives for blogging? Come, on you
can tell me, it will be our little secret, and I won't tell a soul.

To find wonderful, strange creatures like myself who enjoy the weird and macabre. And to honor a friend who created great monster movie email lists, she's sadly vanished on us.

11: What would you have brought to Rosemary Woodhouse's baby shower?

Holy water in a water gun just to be a smartass.

12: Godzilla vs. The Cloverfield Monster, who wins?

Godzilla, no one can beat GOJIRA!

13: If you found out that Rob Zombie was reading your blog, what would you post in hopes that he read it?

Hey Rob, try to make something original and stop f***ing up classic horror films, ok?

14: What is your favorite NON HORROR FILM, and why?

ROCK & ROLL HIGH SCHOOL!

15: If blogging technology did not exist, what would you be doing?

Running a Drive-In.

I don't know about you,

but i'm tired of summer and all it's heat and humidity. I want it to be Fall with cool long nights, short days. Full moons with spooky clouds scuttling across the skies.
And it would mean Halloween time here at the Macabre!
