Welcome to the Macabre Drive-In Theater, enjoy the show. We only show the best Horror and monster B movies ever created or is that escaped?
You're safe in your car, don't mind the screams, sometimes the Drive-In staff get, hungry.
I'm having a trouble with blogger once again, it happens around this time of year like clockwork. It's a real pain in the crypt. So if it seems like i'm not posting here, you'll know the reason. If you miss the frightful fun of the Macabre you can dig us up on Tumblr and we have a Facebook chat group.
Hey it's Countdown to Halloween time again and even though it looks like the Macabre isn't joining in this year ( I don't think i've done a very good job the past two years of the Countdown) i wanted to remind you and to read all the fine blogs in the countdown.
I think my blog here is haunted...spill over from the Macabre. Been having the yearly trouble to post!
This is a test...Hey! no cheating! Hope things will be back to abnormal soon.
Maybe i should a Macabre Facebook page..what you think?
I have been a bad monster and have left the Macabre in a horrific place, the scary no posts zone! I've missed Peter Cushing's 100th birthday and the birthday's of Vincent Price and thankfully still with us in mortal form Christopher Lee.
Many excuses i have, somewhere...down in the swamp by the alligator pool...but let's not dwell on the lame.
But in this terrible time of the year with all it's sunshine and heat and only a good gloomy thunderstorm to cheer us up, we have to think of Halloween...it's not far away!
So take heart or two or three, this icky summer of brightness and humidity will be eaten by the dying of things in Fall and HALLOWEEN!
I see on other Horror blogs it's time for the The Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards again. So we at the Macabre hope your favorite blogs win, so you better vote for them. We don't win awards here at the Macabre or even try or nominate ourselves for one, just find it a kiss assey bunch of crap but that's just us. :)
It was Lon's last film, it was directed by Al Adamson (who ended murdered and buried under a patio) and it was made out of three films. Yes it is the nowhere near a classic "Dracula vs Frankenstain"!
I remember how Famous Monsters built this film up as some type of Horror Classic (well Forry had a small cameo in the film so it was worth a FM cover)
It's not totally bad or good but it's the right kind of film for the Macabre!
