The Dr. Phibes movies had two different actresses playing the part of Vulnavia, both were beautiful and stunning women.
I think they both did a great job as Phibes mute assistant, who was Vulnavia and where did she come from,was she a ghost?, answers never explained in the films.
I always though Valli Kemp looked prettier. Vulnavia sounds like a combination of vulva and naval...

Valli Kemp was in another league as Vulnavia, in my opinion - more beautiful/sexy, and definitely more dutiful an assistant for Phibes. Her entrance in the beginning of "Dr Phibes Rises Again" is one of the best grand entrances in film history. Virginia North was excellent, too, but Valli is the one for me.

Valli had more of a l928-look to her...North looked 60s.
In all fairness to North...perhaps she felt Vulnavia was a psychopath...which she WAS!
Valli's Vulnavia seemed to be innocently enjoying herself and that's why we all seem to find her more attractive...besides a higher example of physical perfection, that is.
